First, I:

$ task add due:mon recur:1w review all tasks and reprioritize/purge as required

A short bit later, I wanted to revise the description and used 'task edit' to change this to read "review all tasks; categorize/prioritize/purge as required". The feedback was:

Editing complete.                                                        
Edits were detected.                                                     
Description modified.

Looking at pending.data, I see the description was changed on the child entry, but not the parent.
