Reporting bugs¶
If you have found a bug, or even the whiff of a bug, please report it! There are several ways to do this:
The first way is to create an issue on this site. Go to the New issue tab and fill out as much as you can. You can then monitor the progress of the issue as we annotate the issue and fix task.
The second way to report a bug is to send email to support@taskwarrior.org. Please include a description of the bug. Additional information is always helpful, and in some cases, required. If you can, please provide:
- bug description
- steps required to reproduce the bug
- task version (1.8.5, 1.9.0 ...)
- platform (Ubuntu, Windows, Mac ...)
- whether you compiled task yourself, or installed a package
