Task 1.9.2 has a few standard color themes that can be used. To use a task 1.9.2 theme, edit your .taskrc file, and add one of these lines:
include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/light-16.theme include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/light-256.theme include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/dark-16.theme include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/dark-256.theme include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/dark-red-256.theme include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/dark-green-256.theme include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/dark-blue-256.theme
Note that if you has specified any color settings yourself, then whether your settings appear before or after the include of the theme file makes a big difference. It suggested you put the include of the them file in your .taskrc, then put any color overrides you wish to specify after the include. For example:
# Favorite theme include /usr/local/share/doc/task/rc/light-256.theme # Overrides color.alternate=rgb353 # Green/white striped effect, like old fanfold computer paper
Is your own personal theme better than our defaults? Show us. Upload the theme file to this site, and announce it.
