The stop command deactivates time tracking.

The stopcommand closes the current open interval - if present. If no open interval is present, stop has no effect.

timew stop [<date>] [<tag>]...

Stop time tracking at current time

$ timew start FOO # at 10:00:00
$ timew stop # at 12:30:00
Recorded FOO

  Ended              12:30:00
  Total               2:30:00

This creates an interval with tag 'FOO' and prints a short report.

Stop time tracking for a specific tag

$ timew start FOO BAR # at 20:00:00
$ timew stop FOO # at 22:53:26
Recorded BAR FOO
  Started 2018-02-13T20:00:00

  Current                  26
  Total               0:00:00

This stops time tracking for tag 'FOO' and creates a new open interval for the remaining tag 'BAR'.
